A little surprise, but true! We’re turning a new page from The Kitchen Table and embarking on a new chapter from today onwards.
Being part of the Damansara Kim runs in our blood. We’re not only humbled to be amidst a row of neighbourhood institutions, but also proud that we’re now an integral part of the community.
When we first opened, we made it a point that everything was made from scratch in the kitchen, and that how we made people feel was as equally important to us. We treated our restaurant like home, our team like family, and our guests like friends. We served our food on shared plates, because food is never food unless you share with others, right? And like all Malaysians, sharing is caring.
Over the 2 years that we’ve opened, we’ve made some pretty silly mistakes but also learnt to not take ourselves too seriously. But the three things that has kept us going is knowing that the act of hospitality itself is a craft, that honest cooking is hard to come by these days, and to always ask ourselves what role do we have as a restaurant in our community?
We’re grateful that you've turned us into your favourite restaurant. And we believe that the new name Table & Apron reflected just that – simple moments of eating together that are worth celebrating for at the table, and wearing that apron for us is something that we’re pretty proud of.
What can you expect with this new name over the next few months? Look forward to dinner parties in our private dining room, loads of specials on rotation, & the best part, new aprons!
Rest assured, we’re still your neighbourhood restaurant with that familiar hospitality, really good food, and ALL by the same people.
P/S: The fried chicken is here to STAY.
